Being held hostage because of poor management and service.

I had an reservation at you 103 N. MacDade Blvd., Glenolden, PA for 9:00 am on Sunday 5/3. Upon my arrival at the counter at 9:00am, I was informed that it would be over an hour before they could bring my car in. I found this odd since my 9:00am reservation was supposedly the first of the day. 10:15am comes and my car is still in the lot. At this point I am starting to get upset. I asked the "supervisor" at the counter what was going on. He proceeds to tell me he only has two mechanics and he is busy on the phone. I ask for my keys back and tell him I will go elsewhere. He tells me he will bring my car in right away. This he did do. Unfortunately, after putting the car on the lift and removing the wheels, there was no work done to my car for another hour.Yet they brought two more cars into the bays, but did not work on those either. They pretty much had three people working on a single vehicle which somehow got in before me even though I had the first "reservation" of the day. I order to get them to finish my car three hours after my reservation time, I had to get angry and start cursing them out. This is not how I planned on spending mhy morning and I will never go to a Mavis Discount service/tire store again and if I hear anyone I know thinking about usinh Mavis, I will be sure to talk them out of it as anyone who will read my facebook account of the event. My work order was #7967 at that location if anyone will bother to look I to this fiasco they call a tire store.

User's recommendation: Don't bother with a reservation. It means nothing. leave before they finally put your car on the lift and hold you hostage while they do whatever.

Appointment for free tire rotation

I made an appointment for my free tire rotation for Thursday July 9 for12 noon. As a customer who has purchased the tires from Mavis, I'm entitled to free rotations. When I arrived for my schedule appointment, I was told that I would have to wait an additional hour because someone called in. Two other customers including a walk in were serviced and sent on their way and it has now been an hour and a half and my car still isn't up on the lift. I guess it doesn't pay to schedule an appointment because clearly, return customers are not a priority. I will be taking my tire business elsewhere in the future.

I needed 2 goodyear tires so I went to their shop on 2041 Auburn ave Columbus ga and personally order the tires from their shop. 10 days later I call to see want happen to my tires and they stated no order was place. I then call the Mavis shop on 1642 Whittlesey rd an had them order to tires and made an appointment to get them put on 1 day after they stated it would arrive. I went to my appointment which was 5 days later and I get their and no tires yet. These two shop have to be the worst shop I ever had to deal with. I would never order tires from Mavis again. My car was damaged during service

I called about a week ago an i spoke to the dm or the regional manager about what happened to my car at the shop an he said that he was going to look into it for me an give me a call the next day in the afternoon which he failed to an ive still been waiting on a phone. I trying calling back only to be stuck in a que then when I finally talk to someone an explain whats going on the transfer me an then they just hang up which I don't understand why I have a new phone an amazing service I need my cars issue to be addressed its been 2 months now with NJ obsessive an i have paperwork an statements from the mavis store i went to that they accepted responsibility for the damages to my car an im seeking compensation

I made an appointment on the 21 st may for sat at 12 . They confirmed my appointment knowing they didn't have the tires we ordered we went waited an hour an a half before they told us Alicia that they didn't have the tires .so she offers another brand an we waited another hour an a half for her to tell us she didnt have them either .when we made the appointment we were never told there was a three hour wait that's why we made the appointment when getting there the girl was very loud an abrupt about it.i told her it didnt say that an she wanted to argue with me .she also told my husband when she called him the same thing he said she did not in my opinion when she called to verified she should have known she didnt have the tire we ordered an given us the option to go some where else so instead of doing that we waited again for another 1an a half hours to be offered another tire they didn't have really so we ended up with tires we didnt want but had no choice at the time .very poor customer service. Only to be offered a free oil change an if we use it what's that gonna take another 4 hour horrible will never come back

I have not heard from Company.I started a dispute with my credit card!

Called for tires, Amazon had for less and would ship to Mavis. I was told do not order from them, they will take to long. I went to store they were not there on a truck. I should have got from Amazon. I wanted tires, and a oil pan leak fixed. They said i should get alignment OK! Well, I got tires. They charged labor on the tires!! Plus the installation fee! Told me I needed $3000.00 in repairs for other things! It is a 2005 crv. So all I got were the tires! No oil pan repair, no alignment! Worse repair ever. I am a old lady and I guess they saw me coming!

Scammed me out of my Money in North Wilkesboro NC

on 1/29/2020 had balance of tires checked, was told had bad shocks on rear and was quoted a price $280 plus tax . I agreed they said they had to order , they called and they set apt for 4pm Feb 3.

I went in on Feb 3 they installed the new shocks they said I paid $363.68 at 5:57 pm. I drove out and heard and felt a loud popping noise from the rear, I went right back in and they put it on the lift and the Service manager saw that they had put on the wrong shocks( any one with eyes could see that they did not fit). Since they were closed by now I had to go back the next morning Feb 4th to have my old shocks put back on. They said they had to re order and it would take about a week.

They never called me, I had to call several times and went by they said still waiting and would check and call me by closing they never did !! February passed now we are inn March I ask for a refund they said that Home office would have to do that. They did not refund, I called and went by they said still waiting on the shocks they had to order from overseas. Now we are at March 24 and they said could not get shocks and would refund me my money but it had been to long to credit back to my credit card.

So the District Manager would have to approve refund and I would get a check in the mail in about a week. Now we are at April 10 and still no check, I called the Home Office and they said I would only get a check for $250 and not what I paid $363.68 .and could not explain why they decided to Cheat me , and said they would have District Manager call me next day . Now April 14th and still no call.!!

I have spent a lot of time calling and going by and 4 hours in their lobby getting the wrong shocks put on and off ,for them to lie over and over and think that I owe them $113.68. Not counting the credit card interest!!!

We scheduled an app on the 21st may for sat the 23 at12 PM they called to verify we were coming we get there then they tell us we have to wait 3 hours I said no we made a appointment the girl Alicoa was very abrupt about it an nasty saying the web told us that an she said she called an left message saying the same thing which was a lie Mean while we sat there for an 1 hour an a half before they came an told us they didn't have the tires we ordered. So she offered another set so we agreed only to wait another 1 an a half to be told they don't have them either so we waited 4 an a half hours for 2 tires to be changed that is acceptable I time is very valuable to that's why we made an appointment we told he that she told us it's a high volume store an we would have to wait our turn .to me our turn was at 12:00 because that's when our appointment was .so after us being angry about it she offered a free oil change what is that gonna do for us we come get it an have to wait 4 hours for an oil change we want a full refund an will not be coming back there or tell friends or family about you .any question feel free to call we nee 2 more tires but will be going elsewhere sorry but not sorry!

Two Tires

Went to Mavis closest to my home and first time,manager said" can t help you, to close to closing time. Next Day around 10 A.M., at same store. "We are very busy now ! Didn't' t even get out of his seat to discuss." Drove an extra 3 miles (on a slow leaking tire) Spoke with Adam, who greeted me and, asked how he could help. Professional and exhibited good listening skills. Provided several options for tires. Mutually agreed to an action plan. When I arrived, Arron greeted me and, the rest is history. Have not been a Mavis fan, in the past.

Too long of a wait

Hello . I have been to three mavis locations in capital region. I went to one in Rotterdam NY . One in Schenectady NY one in Colonie NY . Each location had only 2 guys working and the manager was not accepting more customers. His argument was that he has only two guys working . I needed to rotate my car tires . This usually takes 10 min they made me wait 2.5 hours . I had to make my way in because this was my second time at the shop . I was already told once that they have no time . I gave it 1 star service.

Company sucks

I made an online appt. Worst decision ever. I called 2 hours before my appointment, gave them my confirmation number and was told the couldn't get to me today. Then put in hold for 6 minutes until another guy got on the phone and said the tires I wanted were not there. They were to be delivered today. I will call you when they come in. But if I dont you call us. I took a day off work for this. If I had not called someone probably would not like what they were called to their face had I shown up for scheduled appt. WTF is the sense in online orders and scheduling if your not going to friggin use it. I will not recommend this dump to anyone.

Recently visited Mavis Tire for Oil Change and Tire Rotation. Appointment was first one @ 8:00 a.m. Never took the car until after 8:20 a.m. Noticed there were no safety precautions re: Covid 19. Magazines on the table, Play room accessible for any child to use, customers waiting with no masks on, technicians in and out with no mask on, did not notice any antibacterial protection for customers.

Horrible and Unprofessional Customer Service

I scheduled an appointment for Oil Change and Tire Change to make it to the appointment to find out the tires were not there. So I decided to get the oil change and ordered the tires for next day service! I take off from work early to get to a 3:30 appointment which i was told was made to get back to Mavis and my tires were not ordered! The guy who was at the front said *** be with me in a second to see him get in his car and leave with people waiting! Another guy comes to the front to tell me my tires were not in and no apology nor were other options given to me as if oh well! My Tire change was totaling $500 and they acted like they didnt care! No matter how bad a persons day is I would not want anyone working for me like this. Im sure they dont get paid for free! I would advise ANYONE to patronize Mavis in Zachary, La
