Mavis Tire in Warwick N.Y. checked my alignment on my 2007 impreza.

They had told me my alignment was off. I had told manager to go ahead and align my car as long as I received a print out of the diagnostic proving that my cars align was in fact off and by how much. Also to prove that they had aligned my car. After aligning my car they tech supposedly lost the paper work and mavis was unable to provided that information.

Please people don't be taken advantage of.

Make sure these people provide you proof! Cost me almost $80.

I do all my own repairs but went to them for alignment. I rebuilt the front end on an 01 continental.

The tech got it wrong twice but at least on the third try they made it steer straight, I mean I drove the car out of the shop and almost went into the other lane. They don't test drive the car after an alignment. I worked at ford years ago and would ALWAYS test the car around the block before and after and then the customer got it. I never aligned a car that had new front end and ended up with such a pull.

I asked to supervise the alignment and they would not let.

they said the printer was broken too. Doubt they do more than a toe and go anyway. They did give me a great price on tires though, always comparison shop and they match. I watched the techs and I guess for stuff like brakes and shocks they seem to be ok.

They use a brand of parts that is not famous, but they are probably cheaper than a dealer. Would get a second opinion if they try to upsell too much.

We brought our vehicle into them and after the tire was on, the tech backed my vehicle out --right into the garage door. No apologies whatsoever. I will file a complaint after the holidays and then put this on Angies list, and possibly get some people and picket them out front of the building in Warwick.I havent been able yet to really check out to see if it was damaged ( the antenna).

Well you did exactly what you should have done. Ask for a printout or be shown the readings before adjustments are made.

From experience I would assume that your vehicle either didn't need any adjustment or needed more adjustments than the tech was willing to make. Mavis pushes in store management to maximize dollars, which in turn applies pressure to the technicians to get as many cars in and out as possible. As a result quality of service falls off in favor of speed and higher sales 'ratios'.

It's also interesting to see the same copy/paste response from Mavis in regards to all these complaints.

It's as if they want to have the appearance of customer service without actually putting much time or effort into it. Much like the rest of the services they offer.
